Almost 7 years since they played for our vows renewal at Swinton Bivouac it was great to see Sweetpea Music again.

A 5 PIECE BAND WITH A WHOLE LOT OF HEART…. Having searched for quite a while and not finding anything that we felt suited the venue and our day, we finally came across Sweetpea Music and we were both so pleased we did. They were incredible! They are a 5 piece band with a whole lot of heart and having met them for the first time on the day (we had been in communication over the phone in the lead up) we both absolutely loved them as people. So warm and genuinely lovely people. Sweetpea played all night until our sound curfew around 11pm. Brilliant band, and an absolute must hear!
I booked Sweetpea Music for a 70th Birthday party I had organised, it was snowy that evening and I wasn't expecting much, but the band turned up and played in a tent erected outside, although cold and windy they were superb and the show did go on. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending and definitely hiring again.
We wanted to drop you an email to say a HUGE THANKS for playing at our special day on Sunday at the bivouac. We both thought you were absolutely amazing, not only are you guys a fantastic band but you are also all really warm and friendly easy going people which meant a lot to us both We couldn't have wished for a better band, and would highly recommend you

We really think to passed perfectly to our wedding, the venue and to the type of day we had planned. All of the guest said how amazing you sounded and good you were. We think the more people who know about you and how perfect you are for weddings the better!

A fantastic duo, relaxing music and so easy to listen to. All our customers love them and we will be booking them again.
Olu and Jake were so great to work with, we cannot thank them enough for making the day go so smoothly. They were punctual and professional and Olu’s “Angels voice like tones” touched us, and all our guests on the day. They played music we’d picked, and sang throughout the wedding service in our stable (very large stable), the horse and pony (page boys!) loved them too! Then after the service at the farm, they sang throughout the meal at the local hotel. In the evening they played all our favourite music as they had the good sense to go though our CD collection before the day. One of my guests pointed out Olu had changed several times, I think to suit the times and moods of the whole occasion. She looked stunning and lovely all day! Our blessing was not a conventional one but never the less you still want your chosen band to turn up looking fit for a wedding and they did. In-between playing music they did umpteen live sessions, which everyone loved and are still talking about to this day! Nothing was too much trouble for them. They are truly lovely people who are in our opinion grafters and would be an asset to have at any party, we would highly recommend them.
Our wedding day was a unique and special occasion for us, our family and friends your music was a really special part of it. Your style of music made for a really intimate and warm celebration, the way you do ‘Cover’ versions turns them into something so much more than just a copy of an old song, which was exactly what appealed to us from your website. Live you are a great band and the website doesn't do you justice, we and our guests were blown away, you were so professional and the way you took care of DJ duties really exceeded our expectations. You have a huge amount of experience and skill within your band and we feel really lucky to have got you for our big day and the added bonus was you are really nice people and great to deal with. Thanks Once again for being part of a fantastic day.
Just a quick note to say thank you for a top gig last night at Harrogate golf club. We all thought you were great and very professional. The song list went down really well and soon got everyone up on their feet. Thanks again and hope to see you sometime soon.
I just wanted to say a special thank you to Sweetpea Music for joining us on the Music & Ale Train on Saturday. In the past, the Music has featured more ‘traditional’ styles of music such as the jazz and folk bands that were also on the train on Saturday. It was great, then, to have you on board and your music went down brilliantly with the passengers.
