Olu has been singing professionally for over 10 years. She has smooth, sultry vocals, performing jazz, soul, pop, reggae and contemporary styles with an enigmatic voice that enchants audiences.
In addition to performing at weddings, corporate events and parties, she is also a successful songwriter and recording artist having worked with many top musicians.
Jake contributes driving but melodic bass lines for Sweetpea Music. He has gigged and recorded extensively. Jake is a respected bass player with an edgy style and also plays acoustic guitar in Sweetpea unplugged.
Jake is a music producer and composer in his own right and has sold music to the BBC, Granada TV and Sony. He also teaches the bass guitar and designs websites like this one.
Priding himself on being a rhythm guitarist, Andy uses his mix of influences, playing experience and styles to great effect. Driving chords, soulful licks and edgy counter-rhythms are all part of his contribution combining economy with melody. Andy is a guitar builder and repairer, running Sollophonic Guitars and is also an accomplished slide guitar player and teacher.
Peter is an intuitive drummer with a natural ability to follow the groove with his own distinctive style.
In addition to drumming, Peter provides harmonies and backing vocals, he also plays congas and percussion in our acoustic gigs and is an accomplished singer/musician performing with a number of other bands.
